Key in *#0000# on the ORIGINAL nokia and a Menu will open showing the phones firmware version, the same menu will NOT open on a fake phone.
*EDIT* Key in *#92702689# in the ORIGINAL nokia phone and the warranty menu will open but the same wont happen if the phone is a fake and the same will apply for keying in *#06# which will open up the phones menu listing the IMEI number.

You can copy your texts to the sim and then they will transfer to the v3. see your instruction manual for details. I think you just go to your text messg options to copy.

Are you sure you are connecting them to the earphone socket and not the charger one by accident? There should be two similar holes one for charger and one for earphones.

Wait wait wait until it’s fully charge (if not an hour, it wil take arnd 3hrs) or else u will prolong the charging time.
U can use it though.
i am charging my phone while answring ur quest’n.
but that wil prolong the charging tym.

It seems you are concerned with the time your nokia E71 is taking to charge fully. If its taking unusually long then you should change the battery as there have been cases where faulty batteries when replaced improved backup as well as recharging time. You can even check the following article where it is explained on how to improve iPhone battery backup and it holds good for your nokia also.

Why not try something from the 6000 series? take a look at the 6301 or try the 5310 i have the phone and i have NO problems with the battery…plus the keypad is very easy to use and getting used to!

That’s very unusual,call provider operator and ask for the nearest shop,and have the battery checked,they should do it for free.
