This hack works on my W580, I think it works on every model of Sony Ericsson phone too.
What you need to do is:
press any number from 1 - 9 and then press the # key
(eg: Press “2″ and then press “#”)
What do you see? it displays the last 250 calls made from your sony ericsson! all the contacts from your sim card.

You are right, after I examined the list carefully, those are actually the contacts form my sim card.
